Experience

June 2026 – July 2026

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska

Software Engineer Intern

  • Integrated a Lakebase Data API through Databricks via a secure server-side proxy, querying up to 500 archetype records per request with zero browser credential exposure.
  • Co-led spec-driven development of a multi-tier, rule-based and machine-learning classification engine to segment 210k+ members into behavioral personas.
October 2025 – May 2026

Assurity

Software Developer Intern

  • Built end-to-end logging and tracking in C# and ASP.NET for a distributed claims system, making each request traceable across background jobs and multiple services.
  • Implemented system resilience features with the Polly framework to ensure high availability and application stability.
  • Added API versioning to production endpoints, supporting backward compatibility while enabling safe rollout of new functionality.
June 2025 – October 2025

Quantum Workplace

Software Quality Engineer Intern

  • Developed and automated performance and UI test cases in JavaScript using Cypress, with load testing in JMeter, to validate enterprise software at scale.
  • Grew UI test coverage 14% and expanded performance test scenarios 6.2× in the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
  • Designed high-volume performance tests simulating 15,000+ concurrent users, uncovering critical bottlenecks.

Projects

VR Punch Golf Simulator

Unity / C# / SteamVR / Autodesk Maya

A VR golf game in which the ball is punched rather than hit with a club. A punch thrown at the ball sends it down the course, where it rolls farther on the fairway than in the rough before dropping into the cup. Strokes are scored using standard golf terms, and the game runs on any PC VR headset.

Electronic Combination Lock

C / Raspberry Pi Pico / PlatformIO / CowPi

An embedded combination lock built on a Raspberry Pi Pico. A three-number combination is dialed on a rotary knob, an OLED screen shows progress, LEDs indicate the lock state, and a servo throws the bolt when the combination is correct. Three incorrect attempts trigger a permanent alarm state, and the combination can be changed on the device.

Card Game Web Application

C# / .NET / React / Next.js / CSS / MS SQL

Collaborated in a team of 6 to design and develop a full-stack card game web app featuring Blackjack and Solitaire. Built using MVC architecture and SOLID principles for modular design, developed in an Agile environment with Scrum, sprint planning, and Git/GitHub version control.

Personal Website

Next.js / TypeScript / Framer Motion / Gemini API

A personal portfolio site designed and built from scratch with Next.js and TypeScript. Every section is driven by a single content file, with a fixed top navigation, scroll-triggered animation, and a self-hosted video clip on the featured project. It also includes an AI assistant that answers visitors' questions about my background, streaming responses from the Gemini API through a server-side route with rate limiting and prompt guardrails.
